Austral Wire Products (AWP) guarantees the original end-user purchaser that the above product is supplied with a 12 Month limited warranty and is free from material and manufacturing defects. Within 12 Months from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever occur later), AWP will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective PZ-300C 18V battery crimping tool used in production. This warranty is non-transferable, and valid proof of purchase (showing date and place of purchase) is required for claims.

1. WARRANTY PERIOD

• This product is warranted for a period of ONE (1) YEAR or TEN THOUSAND (10,000) CRIMPING CYCLES, whichever occurs first.

  • Example:

    • If 10,000 cycles are reached within 6 months, the warranty expires at that point.​

    • If 12 months are reached before 10,000 cycles, the warranty expires at the end of 12 months.​

2. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Under normal use, maintenance and without exceeding the above limit, if the product fails due to defects in material or workmanship, we will provide, at our discretion:

• Free repair

• Replacement of defective parts​

3. EXCLUSION (WHAT IS NOT COVERED)

This warranty does NOT apply to:

• Products that have exceeded 10,000 crimping cycles (regardless of time)

• Products older than one year (regardless of cycle count)

• Failure to follow the instruction manual (e.g. wrong die, incorrect pressure setting)

• Unauthorized disassembly, modification or use of non-original parts

• Normal wear and tear (e.g. worn cutting edges, die surface wear)

• External causes: drops, corrosion, liquid ingress, impact, etc.

• Missing proof of purchase or valid cycle count record

4. CRIMPING CYCLE MEASUREMENT

• An internal mechanical or electronica counter (if equipped) will be the primary evidence of cycle count.

• In case of dispute, we reserve the right to determine whether 10,000 cycles have been exceeded by inspecting wear characteristics.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• This warranty is the sole express warranty and supersedes all other warranties, oral or written.

• Our liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

• We are not liable for indIrect or consequential damages (e.g. production downtime, scrap materials).

6. CLAIM PROCEDURE

1. Contact our customer service with product model, serial number, proof of purchase and current cycle count (or photo of counter).

2. Ship the product (at your cost) with the proof of purchase and all other relevant details to AWP at the address listed below.
